Our Community

We have regular members, of all ages, and others who are more loosely associated with St James, for example through having children in our lively uniformed organisations. As well as meeting together in our Church Services, we sometimes hold social functions such as music concerts and shared lunches. We sometimes join together with the congregations of our Sister Church St. Mary's to participate in joint services with refreshments afterwards.

Many of us live in the parish, which is roughly bounded by Riddlesdown Road, the near edge of Riddlesdown Common, the railway line and Warren Road. We also welcome people from the surrounding area.

As well as the Church affiliated Uniform Organisations we have an active branch of Mothers' Union, and host a Baby and  Toddlers group within the church.
